Slow Cooker Cinnamon-Sugared Pecans





Serves 6
A sweet snack for any occasion.
Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted |
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
16 oz. pecans |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
- Set crock pot to high 15 minutes before using. Once the crock pot is hot, add butter and pecans. Stir together until pecans are well coated.
- Pour in powdered sugar, stir ingredients together until well coated.
- Place lid on, cook on high for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir occasionally for 2-3 hours.
- Pour pecans into a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine ginger, cloves and cinnamon. Stir ingredients together and then sprinkle over pecans. Stir pecans to get even coating.
