Simple Pecan Pie

Serves 8

The perfect dessert for Thanksgiving.

Ingredients:

1 refrigerated pie crust
3 eggs
1 cup corn syrup
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups pecan halves

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Place pie crust in pie tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly until combined. Stir in corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix together well. Stir in pecan halves.
  3. Pour filling into the pie crust. Bake for 28-32 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and let completely cool on a wire rack.
