Spiced Pear and Cranberry Muffins





Serves 12
Savor the flavors of Autumn.
Ingredients:
| 2 cups flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1 teaspoon baking soda |
| 2 teaspoons baking powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
| 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted |
| 3/4 cup sugar |
| 1/2 cup milk |
| 2 large eggs |
| 2 pears, peeled, cored, and diced |
| 1 cup fresh cranberries |
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Place muffin liners in the tin.
- Whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, mix in the butter, sugar, milk, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold gently. Add the diced pears and cranberries.
- Fill the muffin tins about 2/3 full of the batter.
- Place in the oven to bake for 18-22 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven. Allow to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
