Bacon Tortellini Alfredo

Serves 8
Surprisingly easy and quick to make.
Ingredients:
4 packages refrigerated cheese tortellini, 9 oz. each |
12 strips bacon |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
8 oz cream cheese |
2 cup heavy cream |
1/2 cup chicken broth |
2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Salt, to taste |
Ground black pepper, to taste |
Directions:
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package directions.
- Cut the bacon into small pieces. Bring a skillet to medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook until crispy.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the bacon to a paper towel lined plate.
- Add the garlic, cream cheese, heavy cream and chicken broth to the same skillet. Return to the burner and bring to medium heat. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes, until smooth. Then stir in the grated parmesan cheese and bacon.
- Add the tortellini to the skillet and stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the bacon tortellini alfredo on to serving plates and enjoy!
