Pumpkin Pecan Cobbler





Serves 8
The best Fall flavors in one treat.
Ingredients:
| 1 1/4 cups flour |
| 3/4 cup sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |
| 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
| 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 2 teaspoons baking powder |
| 1/4 cup milk |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
| 1/2 stick butter, melted |
| 1/2 cup pumpkin puree |
| For the Topping: |
| 1/4 cup chopped pecans |
| 1/2 cup brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup sugar |
| 1 1/2 cups hot water |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Stir the flour, sugar, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the milk, vanilla extract, melted butter, and pumpkin puree.
- Add the pumpkin mixture into the spice mixture and stir together. Pour the batter into an 8-inch casserole dish.
- In a third bowl, combine the pecans, brown sugar, and sugar. Sprinkle the pecan topping over the batter, then pour in hot water. Place in the oven to bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool 10 minutes before serving.
