Cranberry Jalapeno Dip





Serves 32
A fantastic blend of sweet, tart, and spicy.
Ingredients:
| 12 oz fresh cranberries |
| 2 fresh jalapeno peppers |
| 1/4 cup green onion |
| 2 tablespoons cilantro |
| 1 cup sugar |
| 1 tablespoon lemon juice |
| 1/8 teaspoon salt |
| 16 oz cream cheese |
Directions:
- Place the cranberries into a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- Chop jalapeno peppers, green onion, and cilantro. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Add the cranberries to the mixing bowl. Stir together.
- Add the lemon juice, sugar, and salt to the mixing bowl. Stir together until blended.
- Cover and transfer to the refrigerator to chill overnight.
- Remove from the refrigerator and stir together.
- Pour into a colander to strain out the liquid.
- Place the cream cheese into a bowl and use a hand mixer to whip until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese along bottom of a 9x9 baking dish.
- Pour the cranberry mixture into the baking dish. Spread out to evenly cover cream cheese.
- Place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
